The Wonderful Christian Experience! Part 18

Welcome to this week’s e-Truth teaching!

Christianity as a personal lifestylebetween Holy Spirit and the individual believeris OLDER than any New Testament doctrines or New Covenant truths.

Few Christians, if any, know or realize that the early Church did not have a New Testament bible. The gospels which give us the history of the Lord Jesus on earth were written between A.D. 80-90, and none of the four gospels were penned earlier than that.

GOLD & GLORY FLASHPOINT 1:

The gospels reveal to us everything in the earthly life of the Lord Jesus including His death, burial and miraculous resurrection on the third day. Forty days after His resurrection, Jesus ascended into heaven from the Mount of Olives on Thursday May 22, A.D. 32. Ten days later, on Sunday June 1, A.D. 32, the first day of Pentecost… God poured out Holy Spirit in Jerusalem, a miraculous event of God’s power in demonstration.

This outpouring of Holy Spirit launched the Church of Jesus with great power and might from heaven. The history of the early Church shows the development of the Church not only in Jerusalem but throughout the known world of the time, especially with the apostle Paul’s ministry to the gentile nations of the time. Church history of the first century after Christ shows us the times of the Church walking in God’s power, united and submitted to Holy Spirit.

After the death of Paul and Peter in A.D. 67, a spiritual decline of the Church had set in. This decline became more obvious as the early apostles were also killed for their faith. Again, bear in mind that the first writings of the Church era began when Paul wrote the book of Galatians in A.D .48. Paul wrote 14 epistles through Holy Spirit’s inspiration between A.D. 48 and A.D. 67, when Paul was killed by the evil Emperor Nero. The rest of the epistles of the early apostles were written and provided to churches everywhere by the late 70’s of the first century of the Church. Then in the 80’s the four gospels were written. The three epistles of John were written between A.D. 85-90. Finally, the Lord gave the revelation of the last days to John on the Island of Patmos, where he recorded it for us through Holy Spirit’s inspiration. This true account of when the New Testament books were written is seldom mentioned to the Church, especially today. The night before Jesus was betrayed and arrested, He introduced the New Covenant to His disciples. Then to complete the evening, Jesus revealed the teaching of the LIFE OF TRUE CHRISTIANITY to His disciples as recorded for us in John chapters 14-17.

Jesus spent a lot of time late that evening of April 10 A. D. 32 teaching the disciples… HOW TO LIVE THE CHRISTIAN LIFE AFTER JESUS’ RETURN TO HEAVEN. These four chapters of John’s gospel was revealed by the Lord to His followers, showing them exactly how to live the life of Christ practically after the birth of the Church. This teaching was the only one given by Jesus to His disciples concerning how to live a life of true Christian after Jesus’ return to heaven.

. After the birth of the Church in Jerusalem, the book of Acts tells us that all the new converts of the first revival of the Church in Jerusalem met frequently from house to house and CONTINUED in the APOSTLES’ DOCTRINE. What was the apostles’ doctrine? It was two things. Firstly, that Jesus was the only salvation of God by Faith in all the works of Christ’s salvation. That is how they got people saved. Once born again, the apostles doctrine of how to live the Christian life daily was John 14-17, the life of fellowship with Holy Spirit.

Later, the apostle Paul preached the same message of Christianity as the walk and relationship with Holy Spirit. Paul explained the true spirit life with Holy Spirit in all his epistles! Once again, the early Christians had no New Covenant message… no New Testament bible… no Epistles… not even the gospels were written yet. Without any WRITTEN gospel about Christ, the Church at first DID NOT struggle…oh no…the early churches were FULL of the presence and power of the PERSON of Holy Spirit!

GOLD & GLORY FLASHPOINT 2:

To live the Christian life today without any of the gospels or epistles available to us is unthinkable. In those early days, Christianity was not a theory, a book religion, an academy or doctrines of theology. There were no bible studies, books or any theology doctrines.

Why? Because the TRUE life of Christianity was the RELATIONSHIP between every believer and the Person of Holy Spirit. Christianity was not a bible study… it was experiencing Holy Spirit personally in relationship. Once the New Testament scriptures were provided by Holy Spirit through the apostles, Paul instructed us to walk daily with Holy Spirit and that He would teach us the New Testament Word. Peter warned us not to use our mind and dissect and interpret the Word intellectually, forming our own doctrines of error.

Since the death of the apostle John until present, Christianity has become an academy, a word study, a self-interpreted bible exegesis. Imagine a church today which offers only preaching without anyone having a bible. There is no academic approach of the scriptures and no interpretation made of the scripture, and no personal examination of the scriptures offered. There are no bible studies offered, no Word studies conducted, and no books written about Christianity. Yes, imagine your bible being taken away, and you cannot spend any time reading, meditating and memorizing scriptures. If this should happen to the Church of today, Christians would be lost, and their spiritual life would cease to exist… However… correctly so, this is the way the Church of the first Century lived and practiced Christianity!

Without bibles, books and self-studies being available in Christianity today, Christians lives would simply fall apart. This is why it is so difficult to present to the Church the TRUE version of the Christian life, without a bible, without study aids, without our favorite Christian books and without our favorite pastors and bible teachers. If you remove all these ingredients of Christianity today, Christians would have no spiritual life left… NOTHING.

Yet this is the way the early Church operated. They lived life daily in fellowship with Holy Spirit. Like Jesus promised, Holy Spirit taught the early Church ALL THINGS, and guided the Christians in ALL THINGS, and likewise provided EVERYTHING the Church needed through Holy Spirit HIMSELF!

During the revival days of the 90’s, I always challenged Pastors to go on a 30-day vacation, but to leave their bibles and study books at home. One Pastor said to me that if he should do that He would be lost and have nothing to do spiritually.

I have often through the years encouraged Christians to put away all their Christian books and bibles… just for a season… and begin to develop a new Christian life with the Person of Holy Spirit inside their hearts. The system of antichrist Christianity with all it false doctrines, practices and self-studies have ruined the Church for discovering Holy Spirit and developing a new spirit-life with Him in Person. Besides, Christians love the church system of Christianity, that’s why even after much teaching of TRUE Christianity during the revival years of the 1990’s, very few have attempted to start a new Christian walk with Holy Spirit.

Here’s the bad news for those practicing false Christianity…The consuming FIRE of God will soon blow through all churches and all born-again Christians. This entire academic system of Christianity and all it customs and false doctrines will soon be reduced to ashes. All rejection of Holy Spirit will be destroyed… and once all false Christianity is consumed by God’s FIRE Holy Spirit will take back control of the Church and a new purified Church will be gloriously filled with God’s own glory. But this transformation will be accomplished with FIRE and JUDGEMENT of the existing Church everywhere.

Besides having taught and demonstrated TRUE Christianity for the last 43 years, we have continually and now urgently warned the Church to repent of false Christianity and the rejection of Holy Spirit. After all the years since the last spiritual revival, we now know that the last day judgment of the Church is inevitable. A new day is soon approaching where everything in the Church will be done not by might, not by power, but BY MY HOLY SPIRIT, as God has promised!

He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the Church!
