What about the 7 Years of Tribulation?

This week is our second lesson on the subject of the “Last Days of the Church.” To refresh your memory, during the last few months, we have explored four new pathways of TRUTH. Surely, we have done a lot of walking, searching, and discovering of “new territory” of truth along these four different pathways.

With the first three pathways, we rediscovered things concerning the times of God, the DNA of the Lord Jesus, and some special things about Holy Spirit.

GOLD & GLORY FLASHPOINT 1:

  • Today, we find ourselves in the second week of exploring pathway number four: The Last Days of the Church. We trust that last week’s e-Truths lesson titled, The Time Period of the Last Days, was an eye-opener to understanding what the last days of the Church really meant. Today, we are dealing with the “thorn in the flesh,” concerning the last days of the Church. What about the Tribulation?

  • Let me first refer you to our flagship book, God’s Gold & Glory Revolution. I believe Chapter 15 will answer every question you may have regarding all things that pertain to the last days, not only for the Church but also for the last days of all nations, including Israel. We laid out the entire end-time scenario for you in Chapter 15.

GOLD & GLORY FLASHPOINT 2:

  • What about the Tribulation? Let me answer this troubling question with 5 explanations today.
  1. Jesus made a specific promise to His disciples that He would prepare a place for them in heaven and PERSONALLY return to receive His disciples unto Himself. This promise includes every person who would come to salvation during Jesus’ stay in heaven, a time period of approximately 2,000 years. This specific promise that Jesus made ONLY to His DISCIPLES was never made to Israel, the Gentiles, or unbelievers. This promise belongs EXCLUSIVELY to the Church to this present day and every day UNTIL Jesus’ return.
  2. Immediately AFTER the ascension of Jesus, two angels appeared to the disciples, and they repeated Jesus’ promise to return for them. The angels said to the disciples that this same Jesus that was taken from them would return to them in the same manner (Acts 1:11).
  3. All the apostles of the Lord confirmed the promise of Jesus’ return in their Epistles. Most prominently, in 1 Thessalonians 4 and 5, and 2 Thessalonians 2, we find a detailed description of what would happen when Jesus returns for His Church. The resurrection of all the dead in Christ will happen FIRST after Jesus appears on the clouds of glory. Following the resurrection of the dead unto eternal life, we who are alive will INSTANTLY RECEIVE the transformation of our sinful bodies to an eternal spiritual body like that of Christ Himself. Then, we, the total body of Christ, will leave the earth to meet the Lord in the clouds, whereafter He will escort us to heaven and to the throne of our Heavenly Father! This promise of Jesus’ return for His Church is confirmed many times over in the Epistles. Neither Jesus nor the Apostles made any mention of the Church having to suffer the 7 years of Tribulation. Every reference to Jesus returning for us is about His FIRST return since His ascension and therefore Jesus’ return for us (the Church) PRECEDES the 7-year Tribulation and the second coming of Jesus at the Battle of Armageddon.
  4. In the Gospels, which were still Old Testament, or prior to Jesus’ death, Jesus ministered exclusively to Israel. He said so Himself that He was sent to minister to the household of Israel. In Matthew 24, Jesus spoke at the temple, saying that all the buildings of the temple would be destroyed. He continued to explain through Chapters 24 and 25, Mark 13, and Luke 21, the 7-year Tribulation that Israel would experience in the last days before Jesus would return to deliver her from the antichrist. Approximately one week before Jesus condemned the temple, He made His triumphant entry into Jerusalem on a donkey (Luke 19). Entering Jerusalem as Israel’s TRUE King, Jesus pronounced judgment and destruction to Jerusalem  and the people of Israel. Jesus confirmed to Israel that her future Tribulation will be the 70th week of Daniel’s announcement of Israel’s 7 years of Tribulation. At the end of Israel’s 7 years of Tribulation, Jesus and all the saints would return, at which time, Jesus would deliver Israel. This will happen at the Battle of Armageddon. Following Israel’s deliverance, Jesus will RESTORE all things and RULE the earth for 1,000 years. We, the Church, will assist Jesus in governing the nations of the world for the 1,000-year reign of Christ.
  5. Through the Apostle John in the Book of Revelation, Holy Spirit gave an elaborate description of the 7-year Tribulation period. In Chapters 2 and 3 of Revelation, Holy Spirit addressed 7 churches in Asia at the time. In Revelation Chapter 4, Holy Spirit described the future Rapture of the Church to heaven, confirming again the catching away of the Church. Then in Revelation Chapter 5, Holy Spirit revealed what would happen in the throne room where all the Church would be gathered around the throne. At this holy moment, a special ceremony would take place where Jesus, the Lamb of God, will be declared the ONLY ONE worthy to take the Book and thereby open the seals. Throughout Revelation 5, Jesus is given glory and power, and beginning in Chapter 6, Jesus WILL OPEN the first of the 7 seals. These 7 seals, as you may read and confirm for yourself, are the 7 terrible plagues that would be cast upon the earth. The first seal is the BEGINNING of the 7 years of Tribulation. Again, as confirmed to us here in Revelation 4 and 5, the Lord Jesus will open the seals in the throne room of God to START the Tribulation on earth. As we see clearly here in Revelation 5, the Church is ALREADY in heaven when Jesus begins to open the 7 seals. It is clearly evident in the context of Revelation 4 and 5 that the Church is in heaven with Jesus; THERAFTER, Jesus opens the first seal, which STARTS the Tribulation on the earth, which will last for 7 Jewish years. Here, in Revelation 4, 5, and 6, we see the sequence of events that unfold in proper order. Remember, none of this was written in chapter and verse. It is SO important that we KILL this LIE of the devil that the Church will have to go through half or all of the Tribulation! This has been the devil’s way all along: to confuse the Church and DECEIVE THE CHURCH into believing that we, the Church, must also suffer the Tribulation!! It is a lie from the pit of hell. Every promise of the Lord to receive His Church unto Himself is filled with love, joy, hope, and peace. Even Paul says in 1 Thessalonians 4:18, pertaining to the Rapture, “Therefore comfort one another with these words.” Here is one more confirmation, 1 Thessalonians 5:9, “For God did not appoint us to wrath, but to obtain salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ.”

Dearly beloved, be assured of this one thing: since we are the final generation of the Church. OUR LORD JESUS WILL SOON RETURN FOR US ALL! Thank you, and God bless you.
