The Voice of Holy Spirit!

The voice of God’s Spirit has always manifested the desires and will of Father God. Since the days of Adam and the creation of man, the third person of the Godhead, Holy Spirit, has represented the Godhead by speaking and manifesting ALL of what Father and Jesus desire.

Throughout the 6,000 years of man’s dwelling on Earth, Holy Spirit has always been God’s spokesman. Sometimes we, as Christians, forget that Holy Spirit has been present on the earth since the time of the foundation of the world.

As Christians, I think we lack appreciation for how the Godhead functions together. This is such a rich subject, but we will just briefly mention Holy Spirit’s part in declaring and manifesting God’s will on the earth.

GOLD & GLORY FLASHPOINT 1:

Concerning Holy Spirit, the Church has never correctly or fully acknowledged that Holy Spirit is ALSO God. Throughout the 2,000-year history of the Church, Holy Spirit has always endured the rejection of the Church. It troubles me greatly that Holy Spirit is not only rejected as a Person—a rejection that has brought total ignorance in the Church concerning Holy Spirit.
God’s Holy Spirit is ready and on standby for ALL we may need concerning ALL the things that Holy Spirit will bring to us from Jesus (John 14–17). The ministry of God in the Church is the five-fold ministry of Jesus. In Ephesians 4:8-10, the Apostle Paul says that when Jesus ascended on high, He gave five different ministries to the Church for the blessing and edification of the body of Christ.
These five-fold ministry offices are not something we can aspire to or choose for ourselves. When human beings are born, God imparts His destiny to them, which Holy Spirit downloads into their spirit man at the moment of salvation. I want to thank the Lord for the honor and privilege that He has afforded me throughout the years—to stand in the office of teacher, prophet, and apostle, along with my wife, Apostle Shellie.
The ministry of Jesus is SPIRITUAL. Jesus said in John 6:63 that “our flesh profits nothing from the spiritual things of God.” Then Jesus said this: “The words that I speak to you are Spirit, and they are life.” I cannot begin to tell you the honor and blessing to having been called by God to represent the ministry of Jesus. Operating through Holy Spirit in the ministry of Jesus is SO wonderful and just indescribable!
Most ministers standing in the pulpit present God’s Word as an intellectual exercise. They preach on Sundays what they think is right, and the people receive nothing from the Lord. I thank the Lord that for over 40 years, I have stood in the ministry of Jesus, and I have continually seen the manifestation of God through Holy Spirit. Nobody on this planet is perfect, but I made a vow to the Lord when I was first called to the ministry. I said to the Spirit of the Lord that I do know that I am supposed to preach from my spirit man and not my intellect. Actually, Holy Spirit is the one who manifests all the spiritual things of God in the Church. The ministry of the Lord Jesus is such a great blessing and an honor!
Over the years, I have tried to hide myself by always telling people, “This is Holy Spirit speaking. Go and confirm this truth for yourself in your own Bible.” Standing in the ministry of Jesus, especially in these latter years, has caused me a lot of fear and pain. The Apostle Paul mentioned the “burden of the ministry,” which he carried in his spirit from Jesus. Here is my number one prayer that I pray before I preach: “Lord, please help the people whom I minister to; please show them that you are Christ’s minister in my spirit.” So, speaking and preaching the Word is a partnership that operates between Holy Spirit and my human spirit. It ought to be the same for everyone standing in the five-fold ministry. Again, the ministry of Jesus is spiritual. His words are the Words of Christ. As such, Holy Spirit is responsible for manifesting all the TRUTH of God in the Church era.

GOLD & GLORY FLASHPOINT 2:

Here is my number one prayer. Every day I say, “Lord, who can I help? How can I reach the rest of the Church and deliver to them God’s end-time essentials of life?” Zechariah prophesied beforehand about the Church era, saying that it is “not by might nor by power, but through Holy Spirit.” Preachers and pastors quote that verse all the time and then turn around and walk away in the opposite direction so that they can do THEIR own thing and build for themselves THEIR own nice little Church kingdom. Lord, Holy Spirit, please help us. Help me to become a more perfect vessel of Jesus’ ministry. Help me, Lord, to where I can push my natural man completely aside so that Holy Spirit can manifest all New Testament truth to us, the Church!
All ministers will feel the reality of God in their spirit, including the things that Holy Spirit downloaded there to be able to minister. Lord, I pray that people will not even see me—that they should realize that the voice of Holy Spirit comes from within. God’s Holy Spirit is always ready to put divine truth from Christ in our spirit man. As Paul said to Timothy concerning the last days, the Spirit speaks expressly about all the urgent issues of the hour (1 Timothy 3). The burden that I personally experience in the ministry causes me to daily ask the Lord: What else can I do? How can I reach hungry people in the Church? Please help me, Lord.
The passion of our ministry (both for me and Apostle Shellie) is to bear up under this heavy burden of the Church falling away since the days of the Joy Revival. Here is the number one spiritual passion that God has placed within me and Apostle Shellie. This passion of the Spirit is as much a part of the ministry of Jesus as it is part of my spirit.

I have said this before: a lot of my time is spent in my office fellowshipping with the Lord and receiving messages from Him that Jesus wishes to be preached through my spirit. This passion is spiritual. The burden is spiritual. It is the gift of God. This is not some emotion in my head, but rather Jesus’ ministry, which lives in my spirit through Holy Spirit. Sometimes, when Holy Spirit touches me, I just break down and weep before Him. I say, “Lord, show me what else I can do to reach people and minister life-giving truth to the Church.”
I want to close by really encouraging you to realize that when you look at the ministry of GHM and listen to our broadcast or any live service, it is God ministering through the shell of my physical body. This is the deepest desire and passion of my heart—that people would look past me and my voice and that they would personally visit with Holy Spirit and ask Him all about what we preached so that the Lord may bring confirmation of the truth that Holy Spirit and my spirit spoke out together.
Oh God, how I long for this day when the Church would awake unto righteousness, rise up, and begin to hear the voice not of a man but the voice of God and the voice of Holy Spirit, not only in this ministry but through all of the five-fold ministry of Jesus around the world. Holy Spirit has taught me more and more over the years about how to become nothing more than a natural person who delivers the TRUE Word of God from my spirit through Holy Spirit. Hallelujah! Thank you, Lord!
As impossible as this may sound, I have good news for you. Soon, the FIRE outpouring of God will begin, and the Church of Jesus Christ shall be filled and flooded by His Holy Spirit! As Paul says in 1 Corinthians 2:9, the things of God cannot be seen with the naked eye, nor can they be automatically heard. Christians are deceived into thinking that the things of God will just spontaneously fall into their spirits. Oh no! Here in verse 9, Paul also says that God’s Word does not of itself pop into your spirit because you are born again.
All the five-fold ministry of Jesus must ALWAYS come 100% from Holy Spirt, Himself! The burden, the love, the passion, and the compassion that Apostle Shellie and I experience together in the ministry, again, are not from our natural beings, but from OUR HUMAN SPIRITS—super charged by Holy Spirit so that the rivers of God’s truth may flow freely, truly uninterrupted and unhindered by the natural man.
We are in such great need of hearing Holy Spirit’s VOICE. When we were “lost” in the old days, we needed Jesus’ salvation to be saved. But from the time that Jesus returned to heaven, Holy Spirit was commissioned and wished to manifest all of Jesus’ ministry on Earth. Thank you, Lord, for choosing us, not only as ministers, but also that we should ALL become a channel of the ministry of Jesus to accurately deliver all New Covenant truth through the Person of Holy Spirit.
Thank you, Lord, Holy Spirit, for Your faithfulness to bring us the pure anointing of God and the unadulterated living Word of Christ’s New Covenant. Hallelujah!
