The Power of Prophecy!

The Apostle Paul tells us that God’s Word is alive, powerful, and able to penetrate anything. God’s Word is able to separate the self-person of the soul from the eternal person of spirit.

Every word coming from God’s mouth is filled with love, life, power, and eternal glory!

As Christians, we depend on the Word of God. It is life to us. As born-again children of God, we are THE people of the New Testament and of THE Church.

GOLD & GLORY FLASHPOINT 1:

In bringing God’s Word to people throughout the years, the most difficult thing to teach about God’s Word is to show Christians that we should live exclusively in the truth and promises of the New Testament letters written to the Church. To live in the correct time zone or dispensation of time is of such GREAT importance. Thus, every word written in the Epistles and in the book of Acts belong to us for immediate participation and action. This is the Word of the resurrected Christ; and He is the Person of the living Word who is seated at the right hand of the Father.
Unfortunately, many Christians think that they can live anywhere doctrinally in the Bible. Sadly, they do not understand what it means to live in the age of Grace. Every word in God’s Word, from the moment of the resurrection of Jesus until the Rapture of the Church belongs to us. We can enjoy every covenant promise and blessing given to us by God in the Epistles and rejoice in the FULL power of our salvation.
But there’s more…all of God’s Word in the past is true―but it’s history, and we may often refer back to the things of God in the past…we can even consider wonderful miracles that took place. However, to me, the BEST part of God’s Word is the FUTURE…because that is where we are headed! We are on the journey of the future.

Thank God for all He has done for us in the past, including redeeming us through Jesus Christ. All of God’s Word is equally powerful, but not equally pertinent. There are two following areas of God’s Word that are most pertinent to us as Christians.

The first one we just mentioned is to live in the doctrinal truths of the Epistles and the promises of the New Covenant.
The second part of God’s Word that is pertinent to us is regarding the future.

It is easy for us to become overwhelmed by all of Gods’ promises made to us for the future. Sometimes the prophetic future sounds like a fairy tale.
How is it possible that so many great, miraculous events are going to take place in the near future?
Looking at God’s end time plan from a distance is mind boggling already; yet as we move in closer to examine God’s end time plan, we realize “Oh my God,” this is for us—for our day, our time, our season, our future…right NOW!
Like every Word of God, His prophetic predictions are LOADED with Holy Spirit DYNAMITE! Every one of these Prophetic Words are going to EXPLODE in manifestation right before our eyes! We’re thinking of our future as the Climax of the Ages, the outpouring of God’s Spirit on all flesh. We also think of the transformation of the Church unto purity through God’s FIRE, and unto perfection through the impartation of His GLORY through us. How immensely powerful, how incredibly overwhelming, how difficult, and even impossible it is to try and form a picture of this GREAT end time EXPLOSION of God all over the world!!!

In trying to look at all these prophetic events that will take place very soon, we again try to imagine the power of God’s prophetic future for us. All of this is SO far beyond any intellectual ability or thinking process we can EVER imagine!

For example, let’s examine the Fig Tree prophecy―the prophecy Jesus delivered regarding Israel while He was on Earth. At that time, Israel was powerless and oppressed, being ruled by the Romans with an iron fist. I’m sure that even Jesus’ personal followers had a hard time believing this Fig Tree prophecy!
This poor, broken-down Jewish nation, trembling before the mighty Roman Empire felt hopeless. Could it ever be possible that this little and defeated nation of Israel could ever rise against the Roman army to possibly defeat it, and thus be restored to perfection? Anyone in the time of Jesus who would have suggested such a revolution actually taking place would have been laughed at. This restoration of Israel was foremost on the mind of every Jewish person while Jesus was on Earth. We see this passion of the pain of the Roman oppression.
Even so, it ended up being the last thing the disciples begged of Jesus on the Mount of Olives, saying, “Lord, are you at this time going to restore the kingdom to Israel?” (Acts 1:6, NKJV). To the contrary of everyone’s belief at the time that Israel could rise again, and in the face of all adversity, Jesus nevertheless issued ONE word of prophecy, promising that this miracle would happen in future. There will be a moment of time in Israel’s distant future that she would be fully restored by God as a nation who will repossess all the land stolen from her before. I wonder how many people paid attention to this prophecy or even believed it? Shockingly, the very opposite thing came to pass. Instead of a restoration for Israel, she would be totally defeated and destroyed as a nation in A.D. 70.
Here is the horrible truth of history. The Roman army completely destroyed Jerusalem, the Temple, and the ownership of the land of Israel. TOTAL DESTRUCTION! Indeed, all that was left of Israel was a barren land that ended up as a desolate desert. This desert of a former Israel would be revived and restored by God in a short 50-year period. In 1897, Israel was still a desolate desert…yet just 50 years later…she had become a new nation springing forth into a newness of life. THE FIG TREE BLOSSOMED ONCE MORE (May 1948)!

Now it’s OUR turn! Today, the Church is MORE messed up, split apart, divided, confused and powerless. It’s like the dead bones in the valley of Ezekiel 37. Can these bones live? Yes, as impossible as it seemed in the past on different occasions that Israel would never survive, yet miraculously, she did in fact survive. Six million dry bones brought the prophecy of Ezekiel into a living reality of hell during World War II. Seven years after Hitler opened the gas chambers to annihilate the entire Jewish nation, Israel was reborn as a nation.
Today, as we consider the spiritual devastation of the Church, we are challenged to look for a NEW Church, a glorious Church, that God would miraculously raise up in the time before us!
Do you believe this is possible? Do you believe that this would actually happen…a glorious Church…in the fullness of measure of the stature of Christ?!!!
Out of all the ruins of Israel’s temples of the past, affirmatively, a NEW temple in Israel will soon arise. The same is true for the Church. Out of a miserably defeated Church today, God will birth forth and manifest to all the world a NEW house, a latter house. This latter house is going to be the glorious Church, and she will be presented to the world without any spot or blemish. Oh no, the Church will be as perfect as Christ is right now!

I say to you that you will see the GLORIOUS Church with your own eyes, because this, dear friends, is the power of the Word of Prophecy in the Word of God!!! ONE Word, ONE prophecy, ONE manifestation. ONE GLOBAL MIRACLE. COMING TO ALL OF US SOON!
