The life of Jesus is still filled with mysteries for 2,000 years after He left this earth. The greatest miracle is to understand how Jesus came from heaven to be born as one of us, a human being. His life and ministry in Israel are shrouded with secrets. The many miracles during His 3 1/2 years of ministry are mind boggling, yet they really took place. The greatest miracle of Jesus’ life is His death and supernatural resurrection. He was able to provide a full salvation for every person on Earth!
Jesus’ supernatural resurrection was confirmed numerous times as He appeared to many people. There was no doubt it was Him. Unfortunately to some extent, His subsequent ascension and return to heaven is still plagued with controversy. Jesus returned to the Father in heaven just as He had promised. This glorious ascension of Christ is the moment in time that He began to represent us before the Father with intercessions. He has done this faithfully from the time of His return until today, which will continue until His return for the pretribulation rapture.
GOLD & GLORY FLASHPOINT 1:
- Once Jesus returned to heaven, the Father bestowed great glory on Him. Through all this, Jesus was given a glory and position of power which was greater than anything God would ever give to any person, establishing Jesus in the greatness of His eternal glory.
- The most important question Christians need to resolve is that Jesus is not on the earth, but governs the universe from heaven. Jesus was resurrected in a spiritual body and will remain both God and man throughout eternity.
- He’s not omnipresent, but He’s ever present before the Father. This great heavenly glory of Christ is something the devil has opposed vehemently since Jesus left the earth.
- Satan and the antichrist spirit have been successful in deceiving the Church as to where Jesus resides. The devil has been able to confuse the Church with a lie:
- Very few Christians honor Jesus in His heavenly glory because they have been deceived to believe that He’s still on the earth.
- Other Christians simply believe Jesus is omnipresent, which is another lie from the enemy.
GOLD & GLORY FLASHPOINT 2:
- Jesus lives in a human body that’s glorified and NOT omnipresent. This deception about Jesus being on the earth, living in our hearts and being omnipresent is all ridiculous assumptions. Twenty-two scriptures in the Bible show us that Jesus is with the Father in heaven. If Jesus was presently on the earth, He’d be a liar, since He promised to return to the Father and prepare a place for us in heaven.
- It’s blasphemy to believe these lies about Jesus being on the earth. Deceived by all these lies, the Church tries having a personal relationship with Jesus, and in doing so, the Church ignores having a relationship with Holy Spirit. Holy Spirit seeks relationship with God’s children, as a person of God in the earth and in our hearts; however, Holy Spirit is ignored and essentially rejected by the Church.
- These lies about Jesus and where He presently resides are so detrimental to the Church. We reject the Person of God who’s here, Holy Spirit; and, we look for the Person of God who’s not here anymore — Jesus. For too long, the Church has paid the price for this deception of the devil about where Jesus resides. It’s way past time for the Church to confront and destroy these deceptions about Jesus! It’s of urgent importance for the Church today to accept Holy Spirit in person and seek a relationship with Him. Jesus promised after His ascension in John chapters 14 to 17, Holy Spirit would take His place on Earth as His substitute.
