Peak Prophetic Events of Our Time Part 5!

Welcome back to our amazing study of “Peak Prophetic Events of Our Time!” In our last “Weekly Insights” e-Truths, we took an overall look at the 20th century. This week, we are going to take a spiritual look at the 20th century.

Bear in mind that over the last few weeks, we identified three biblical factors in end-time events. The Church at large only considers end-time prophecy. We proved the point that there are three important factors concerning the end-times: 1) prophecy, 2) modern inventions, and 3) history itself.

GOLD & GLORY FLASHPOINT 1:

• In spite of the fact that so many end-time prophecy books were published during the 20th century, the Church had failed to identify the most important spiritual and prophetic events of the 20th century. Subsequently, the Church never established the great importance of these events.
• Today, we want to visit the most important spiritual event of the 20th century and emphasize its importance to us—even today. IT IS THE GLOBAL OUTPOURING OF GOD’S SPIRIT THROUGHOUT THE 20TH CENTURY.
• The NEW outpouring of God’s Spirit in modern time started in 1900. It is impossible to overemphasize the great miracle of the new outpouring of God’s Spirit from 1900 onward throughout the 20th century. How is it possible that the Church would fail to globally proclaim the GREAT RETURN of the outpouring of God’s Spirit after almost 2,000 years, during which time, the world never saw any outpouring of God’s Spirit?
• Here is an event that was prophesied and promised by many of the Old Testament prophets. Here we see the PRIMARY PROPHETIC EVENT which God used to launch the Church in Jerusalem ten days after the ascension of Christ. In 1900 and throughout the 20th century, the Lord used multiple outpourings of the Spirit globally to prepare us for the last days of the Church, which would end with a global harvest of souls and the return of Jesus for His beloved Church. This event of the outpouring of the Spirit was greatly emphasized by the Apostle Peter on that glorious day. Throughout the 1st century of the Church’s existence, many outpourings of the Spirit were experienced among Jews and Gentiles. Church history shows us that around the year A.D. 90, outpourings of the showers of the Spirit had ceased to exist.
• In spite of the fact that God began a great work of restoration in the Church through Martin Luther, there were no outpourings of the Spirit throughout the entire Reformation period of the 1500s and early 1600s. History identifies five great universal awakenings of Christianity from the time of Martin Luther in 1517 until approximately 1980. These five great awakenings of Christianity were powerful revivals of salvation, yet there were no Spirit outpourings during the times of these great awakenings.
• Some leaders in the Church will mention the 1906 outpouring of God’s Spirit at Azusa Street in California. The first credible report of a modern-day outpouring of God’s Spirit took place in 1901 in Topeka, Kansas, in the Bible school of Charles Parham. In 1904, a great Spirit outpouring took place in the country of Wales. The 1906 outpouring was the third one since the beginning days of the Church of the 1st century of Christ.
• Sadly, I have never heard anyone mention the great global distribution of the outpouring of the Spirit in 1907. Here we witnessed one of the greatest miracles of modern times, not even known by most Church leaders today. In less than one year, a global outpouring of the Spirit took place, touching every continent of the world! This was no doubt the greatest spiritual miracle of the 20th century!
• In 1981, I traveled to Tulsa, Oklahoma, for the Kenneth Hagin Camp Meeting. In one of the sessions at the Camp Meeting, a prophet by the name of Dr. Ed Dufresne spoke about cycles of the Latter Rain outpourings. He began to explain to us that since 1907, there had been periodic new cycles of the Latter Rain outpourings around the world. He concluded by showing us a pattern of several intermittent 20-year cycles of outpourings.

GOLD & GLORY FLASHPOINT 2:

• After returning home to South Africa, the Lord spoke to me about the importance of knowing those cycles of outpourings and also learning how they were distributed in different parts of the world. It took me several years to find the correct books that would give me the information on all these Holy Spirit outpourings of the 20th century. I was astounded at what I found.
• It took me almost the entire decade of the 80s to gather all the information together regarding the outpourings of the Spirit throughout the 20th century. Most of this information was not clear to me until after 1986, when the Lord visited me to tell me that the next year, 1987, would be the beginning of a new outpouring of God’s Spirit. Now in hindsight, we can confirm five great global outpourings of God’s Spirit throughout the 20th century. They are 1907, 1927, 1947, 1967, and 1987.
• Throughout the years of my ministry here in America, I have repeatedly taught extensively on all the Latter Rain outpourings of God’s Spirit throughout the 20th century. In 1947, the great healing and miracle revival introduced the Church to the final generation before the Lord’s return. The next year, 1948, provided us with the greatest prophetic sign of the 20th century, which was the rebirth of Israel on Friday, May 14, 1948. According to the words of Jesus, the “Fig Tree” generation would not pass away BEFORE Jesus would return.
• Again, the Church has dropped the ball and has failed to continue the prophetic count of the days of the Fig Tree generation! In 1997, the devil used Church leaders to start moving away from the Joy Revival, which started in 1987. The end of the 20th century brought us to a critical time period since it was the end of 2,000 years since Christ and 6,000 years since Adam.
• Since we entered the 21st century, we have experienced 25 years of “overtime.” This year of 2025 is the 78th year of the last generation of the Church, and for Israel, it is the 77th year of the last-day Fig Tree generation. The spiritual importance of the 20th century cannot be rightfully explained. It was the final 100 years of “normal time” until the end of regular time in the year A.D. 2000/6000 since creation.
• Regardless of the last 25-year delay since 2000, we have reached the pinnacle moment in time. The final global outpouring of God’s Spirit is upon us! Throughout the 20th century, the Word of God was preached throughout the world, accompanied by outpourings of God’s Spirit, which have also spanned the globe. Just over 2,000 years ago, the birth of Jesus brought the world to the peak prophetic event of that time.
• Today, with all of what God has done through history, prophecy, modern inventions, and the global outpourings of God’s Spirit, we have NOW ARRIVED AT THE TRUE PEAK PROPHETIC HOUR OF OUR TIME! May the magnitude and the revelation of what we talked about here today be imparted to your spirit, your soul, your mind, and your intellect―indeed, to your entire person!
