Jesus’ TIME on Earth!

Here is a very simple question regarding the Lord Jesus. How much time did He spend on earth?

This question touches the heart of ALL Christianity. How many years did our Lord spend on this earth? In order to correctly answer this question, we have to know when Jesus was FIRST BORN. Obviously, the correct BIRTHDATE of our Lord Jesus is generally not known throughout the Christian world.

For 1,689 years, the Church has been fed the religious garbage that Jesus was born on December 25! This is a BLATANT LIE! Everyone who knows the nation of Israel and its weather throughout the year knows that December 25 being Jesus’ birthdate is a LIE! It was IMPOSSIBLE for Jesus to have been born during one of those cold winter nights in Israel. December 25 fell right in the middle of the cold winter in Israel. Knowing what caused December 25 to be celebrated as Jesus’ birthday should aggravate and truly anger every born-again Christian.
I did briefly cover this scenario in our flagship book, God’s Gold & Glory Revolution, on page 211. Here it is. The Roman Emperor Constantine was powerfully born again in AD 312. Following his powerful conversion, Constantine made Christianity the religion of the Roman Empire.
The eastern and western divisions of the Roman Empire finally separated in the early AD 300s. While the western empire in Rome greatly declined, the eastern sector under Emperor Constantine became a world power of the eastern Roman Empire established in Constantinople, which is modern-day Istanbul in Turkey. One of the worst morally degraded pagan annual Roman festivals, “SATURNALIA” was celebrated in Constantinople every year on December 25. This pagan feast honored Saturn, the ancient god of agriculture and the sun. Desperate to do away with this inhumane nightmare, Emperor Constantine called for December 25 in AD 336 to become the exact date every year for the entire Roman Empire to CELEBRATE Jesus as LORD AND SAVIOR.
Constantine established the “Jesus celebration” on December 25 for the following two reasons: 1) to hopefully, WITH TIME, bring an end to Saturnalia, and 2) to make December 25 a national day of uniting thousands of Christians across the entire Roman Empire, which stretched into many nations of the world at that time.
Clearly, Emperor Constantine did NOT inaugurate December 25 as Jesus’ birthday. It was a day to celebrate Jesus’ SALVATION for every Roman citizen who was born again like Emperor Constantine. It was also a day to celebrate the LORDSHIP of Christ over the entire Roman Empire. But of course the devil was not happy with that! Over time, the devil used his twisted ideas to change December 25 into falsely becoming the very day of Jesus’ birth.
Subsequently, December 25 began to be eventually celebrated everywhere as the actual birthdate of Jesus. Less than a year after establishing December 25, Emperor Constantine died on May 22, AD 337. Thank God, Constantine never knew what eventually became of December 25 in the Roman Empire—and eventually around the world. So over the years, a simple but of course incorrect celebration of Jesus our Savior on December 25 EVOLVED into UNTRUTHFULLY becoming the “so-called” birthday of our Lord! So, the damage was done to December 25! There was no stopping it!!
December 25, or Christmas Day, has become THE most powerful Christian celebration in the world. It grew from a Christian celebration, then spreading throughout the nations of the world, and it was integrated into many different cultures of all these nations that would be celebrating Christmas globally. So what really happened here? Christmas was embraced by many nations around the world because every nation separately found a way to integrate Christmas into their culture. Surely, Christmas Day deserved to be a vacation day, perhaps including several vacation days, because it is so close to the end of the year.

Allow me to briefly share my childhood experience growing up with Christmas. I was born and raised in South Africa. Being located in the SOUTHERN hemisphere, our seasons are the reverse of the NORTHERN hemisphere. November through March is our SUMMER in South Africa! Our summer holiday is in December and most of January. Summer holiday (vacation) was the time that the whole nation took vacation, and everybody ended up in a vacation resort at the beach for most of December and January. These resorts lined the almost 1,200-mile long entire coastal region of South Africa.
Here is what our schedule was like as children on Christmas Day:
Early on Christmas morning (December 25), we would be packing everything we would need, literally hitting the beach and spending the whole day there. That included swimming, surfing, sandwiches, and barbeque on a packed out beach. Everybody was there! That was Christmas Day in South Africa for us and most people every year—just the same. Again, that was December 25. Christmas on the beach became our South African tradition. Likewise, all over the world, Christmas became a TRADITION EVERYWHERE, north or south, summer or winter―whether it be Christmas on the beach or Christmas around the fireplace. What happened to Christmas? The devil gave it to us, and we downloaded it into our culture ourselves.
Once the devil was successful in convincing us to make Christmas part of our culture, the TRUE birthdate of Jesus would be obscured for many generations to come. Here in America, everybody loves Christmas because it has been culturized: getting together with family, having a special meal, Christmas gifts, Christmas cards, Christmas trees, Christmas decorations, eggnog, driving around the city looking at lights, and perhaps inviting a few close friends over to the house, too. Nothing about Christmas is evil. Everything is wonderful. The whole city is shining in decorations. The neighborhoods and the houses look so pretty. And people overcharge their credit cards to get the gifts they wish to buy for family and friends.
Subsequently, cultural Christmas has become its OWN RELIGION, a WORLD RELIGION! How come? Because all the world has joined this Christian RELIGION of Christmas by turning it into a business venture of great financial prosperity and success. There’s a lot of money to be made with Christmas! All the internet shopping adds to the mass hysteria of Cyber Monday, and we all storm the stores on Black Friday. It’s all about getting the best deals. Oh, I thought this was just about Jesus. No, it’s not! It is a religion and everybody is a worshipper, from November 26 to December 26. This one month global religion of Christmas is a religion of all the world! Mostly, non-Christian religions do not celebrate the Christmas religion.
We started out our conversation today talking about how much time Jesus spent on earth. The place to start calculating the exact time period of Jesus on earth would be His actual birthday. We are now at the end of today’s e-Truths, and we still have NO CLUE when Jesus was born.
