Much has been said about the new birth of the human spirit unto salvation. We know that the salvation of our soul AND body would take place at the Rapture, including the resurrection of the dead in Christ.

 

In Pentecostal and Charismatic circles, we teach very strongly about the baptism of the Spirit, which is an outpouring of Holy Spirit’s presence in our human spirit, like water.

As Charismatics, we also believe and practice the operation of the nine gifts of the Spirit; however, as far as experiencing God in the spirit, the Church has limited herself to the following only 3 areas of the spirit life:

  1. The new birth of the human spirit
  2. The baptism of the Spirit
  3. The gifts of the Spirit

GOLD & GLORY FLASHPOINT 1:

  • Through the baptism of the Spirit, we allow our born-again spirit man to speak in the tongues of God’s Spirit. Through the 9 gifts of God’s Spirit, we avail our human spirit to be used by God’s Spirit in manifesting His 9 gifts through us. That’s as far as we’ve come in 2,000 years regarding activities of the human spirit.
  • In our new book to be released soon, TRUE Christian Living, we begin to teach about how to develop and mature our born-again human spirits, something which has been ignored all along.
  • About 2 years ago, I taught a 4-part course on how to “activate” and “use” the faith of God (click this LINK to view the video series). Although so much good has been taught about faith over the years, the Lord encouraged me in this 4-part faith teaching to show how both the soul man and spirit man are involved in operating God’s faith.
  • During the faith movement of the 1970’s and 1980’s, there was still a lot of misunderstanding about how to operate in faith. Since the Church, in large, lives in the soul realm predominantly, the operation of faith was applied to the soul man and NOT the spirit man.
  • Faith was then purposefully operated through the mind and NOT the human spirit. People misinterpret it as the ability of the mind to believe as being actual bible faith. However, believing with the mind is NOT bible faith because the mind is able to believe ONLY natural things—and things of the sense world—or our environment.

GOLD & GLORY FLASHPOINT 2:

  • It is believing in the natural realm, which is good and we must have it, BUT it is NOT faith. Believing in the mind is a natural concept, while the faith of God is a spiritual substance or spiritual commodity.
  • Believing is simply a concept; it has NO substance to it. Faith, as a substance in our spirit, will manifest the promises of God with sense evidence, so you can see it!
  • Faith can ONLY be developed in your human spirit while in fellowship with Holy Spirit. Holy Spirit is the ONLY way to receive faith in your spirit and to develop it in your spirit.
  • Romans 10:17 says that faith comes by hearing, and the word hearing here means hearing with the spiritual ear of the spirit man—NOT the natural man.
  • As we are able to help the remnant people of God move into living the life of true Christianity, we will be able to correct the flaw in teaching the operation of faith. We will be able to show God’s people, through fellowship with Holy Spirit, how to impart and grow God’s faith in our spirit man.
  • This will be the beginning of the rise of the TRUE spiritual giants of the last days, as we will finally operate the faith of God from our human spirit through the POWER of Gods’ Holy Spirit. What a glorious day that will be!
