Are We Thirsty for Heaven’s Rain?

Let’s talk some more today about the heavenly rain of God. We firmly believe that the next outpouring of heaven’s rain will be the global outpouring of God’s Spirit, literally on every human being on earth. I know this is so far beyond our comprehension!

It is just impossible to imagine such a miracle of global proportion. Many generations of the Church have looked at this prediction in Joel 2 and Acts 2. Here, God promises in the last days to pour out His Spirit on every human being.

GOLD & GLORY FLASHPOINT 1:

• Outpourings of heaven’s rain trigger a miraculous response from God’s people. The outpouring of heaven’s rain is the GREATEST blessing which the Lord Jesus Christ promised His disciples shortly before Jesus’ ascension to heaven. It is of the utmost importance for the Pentecostal Church around the world to study the history of the outpouring of God’s rain.
• Looking at the Book of Acts, we learn about the great outpourings of God’s Spirit, especially through the ministry of the apostles Peter and Paul. It is also critical for us to find the reasons WHY the Spirit of God was quenched, ultimately bringing an end to all the outpourings of heaven’s rain in the early Church. Almost 2,000 years after the cessation of heaven’s rain in the early Church, God began to pour out NEW showers of rain starting in the year 1900. Once again, I lament the fact that the church world has not placed an emphasis on the history of the Church since 1900.
• If the Church had kept up with the outpourings from 1900 onward, the Church would not have lost track of the importance of heaven’s rain and also of preparing ourselves for a fresh outpouring throughout the 20th century. In my own personal experience in the Joy Revival of the 1990s, I was shocked to see that churches and pastors were not praying for more of heaven’s rain. In fact, the outpouring of heaven’s rain was foreign to the churches in the 1990s. As we ran with the outpouring from church to church, everyone was shocked to see and experience an actual outpouring of heaven’s rain.
• In every church I preached in those days of the Joy Revival, the outpourings of God snatched the Church out of her religious rituals since night after night they were all lying on the floor intoxicated with God’s Presence. Once a new outpouring of God’s rain reaches us, it destroys all the set programs and rituals of the Church. As Holy Spirit fell all over the people, He also took charge of everyone and everything in the service. The outpouring of heaven’s rain is a complete substitute for the regular Sunday church services. As Christians, our most precious possession is the salvation of the Lord Jesus Christ! The second most important thing in Christianity is the tangible Presence of God when the rain of heaven is poured out upon God’s people.
• Back on the day of Pentecost in Jerusalem, nobody was PROPERLY PREPARED for the deluge of heaven. Everybody was shocked, ending up on the floor being filled and flooded with God. If the Church had paid attention through intermittent outpourings of God’s Spirit during this Latter Rain season, which started in 1900, then it would have prepared the Church throughout the 20th century—even until this present time!
• Throughout all the years of our ministry, I have always spoken prophetically to the Church by God’s Spirit. We have never failed to help prepare the Church for the great last-day outpouring, which is NOW BEFORE US! Prophetic preparation would have helped the Church transition through ALL the great outpourings of the 20th century.
• Since we published our flagship book, God’s Gold & Glory Revolution, in 2020, we have faithfully capitalized on the last five years to raise up God’s remnant for this last-day outpouring! We have reported everything about the signs of the times, identifying the very precise time that we live in, and we have shown the Church how to prepare themselves for the NEW outpouring of heaven’s rain for the days ahead.
• PERSONAL preparation is just as important as prophetic preparation. Personal preparation means that we walk closely with Holy Spirit in a relationship and that in times of regular fellowship, WE WOULD ASK Holy Spirit to do the PREPARATION in our spirits. Personal and prophetic preparation for the soon-coming outpouring is absolutely VITAL! It has been a great frustration for me personally to have obeyed the Lord all these years to prepare the Church for the next outpouring of heaven’s rain, sadly so, with little result.

GOLD & GLORY FLASHPOINT 2:

• Ultimately, making any decisions in your life spiritually requires more than what the Church offers her people. Even if the Church was prophetically preparing people in these last days, such preparation would not be enough for us to become God’s last-day remnant.  Again, this is something every one of us has to walk through with God’s Holy Spirit.
• It would help us greatly if Church leaders would look at all the revivals of the 20th century and determine the reasons why all these outpourings were eventually terminated. In the early Church, Paul’s frustration with many Christians throughout his ministry caused him much grief and anguish. Studying the New Testament Epistles of Paul, it is fairly easy to find the reasons for all of the churches to backslide and to turn away from Holy Spirit.
• Shortly before the end of the first century after Christ, around A.D. 90, John warned the Church by telling them that the antichrist spirit is coming to attack the Church. The rest is history. Even Paul’s churches all backslid in the end because they were no longer receiving any fresh rain from heaven. Revelation chapters 2 and 3 confirm for us the terrible state of the churches in Asia at that time. Only one of the seven churches, which the Lord spoke to through the Apostle John, was not backslidden. Six of the seven churches received a scolding from the Lord for their spiritual deterioration. Nothing has really changed since then. It is shocking to observe the Church today, presenting a form of Christianity that is ungodly and dangerous. In this sense, we have issued many warnings from the Lord’s Word to the Church of today.
• Concerning heaven’s rain, and regarding the new outpouring that will arrive soon, every one of us needs to do the proper preparation in order to be ready when the rain starts falling soon.
• Let us pray right now that the Lord would even accelerate the time, right up to the beginning of the NEW outpouring. This final outpouring of heaven’s rain upon every person will produce the end-time harvest of souls, a harvest that will number into the billions of souls! We pray every day for this to happen. We also pray that the Lord would create the spiritual HUNGER and THIRST for the new outpouring of heaven’s rain. We know that we are constantly praying for the outpouring to arrive soon, and we pray also that  many Christians around the world will join us in praying and preparing for the new outpouring of heaven’s rain so that God would accelerate the arrival of the next outpouring of God’s Spirit. Most of all, we are asking the Lord to create a TRUE spiritual hunger in the hearts of every Christian so that the Church around the world may be flooded with the new outpouring of heaven’s rain.
• Finally, we also pray and ask the Lord to stir up a greater hunger for the Lord in the heart of every lost person. We pray that they may realize that the answer to the hunger they feel in their hearts is the Lord Jesus and His eternal salvation. We pray that God would stir up the hearts of all people on the earth―the Church for the fullness of the Spirit―and the lost for the true salvation of the Lord Jesus Christ. Let us not grow weary in fellowshipping with the Lord, and let us not fail to ask the Lord CONTINUALLY for the great last-day outpouring of His Spirit upon all the earth. It is time for a fresh outpouring of heaven’s rain all across this drought-stricken earth.
• Thank you, Lord, for hearing our prayers. Thank you, Lord, for the soon-coming outpouring of heaven’s rain. Thank you, Lord, for the last-day harvest of the earth and the return of the Lord Jesus on the clouds of glory. Firstly, send us the rain clouds of heaven, Lord, and then secondly, for the Father to send us the Lord Jesus on the glory clouds of heaven. This is our last-day journey, from heaven’s rain clouds to the appearance of Jesus on the glory clouds of heaven! Thank you, Lord! Amen. God bless you.
