Peak Prophetic Events of Our Time Part 17!

Welcome to Peak Prophetic Events of Our Time Part 17! Over the last few weeks in this study, we have focused on 8 powerful influences of our prophetic times.

Today, we will consider influence #7, which is the rebirth and restoration of Israel.

GOLD & GLORY FLASHPOINT 1:

  • Both the ancient and modern-day history of Israel paint a spectacular picture of God’s grace and goodness. Israel’s remarkable story began when God called Abraham and gave him the land of promise as an inheritance until the end of time. God also showed Abraham that his descendants would be oppressed in Egypt for a very long time. Four hundred thirty years after Israel was enslaved in Egypt, God miraculously delivered them and set them on their journey to return to the promised land of Abraham. Due to Israel’s rebellion during this journey, the Lord gave Moses His law for Israel. At that time, Israel was teetering on the brink of destruction since God told Moses on the mountaintop that He wished to destroy the whole nation and start over with Moses alone. Luckily for Israel, the Lord accepted Moses’ intervention on behalf of his people. Nevertheless, that generation of rebellion died in the wilderness, never to see the promised land. The system of the law that God gave to Moses on the mountain was actually an incarceration of Israel spiritually until Christ would be born.
  • In spite of numerous signs and wonders, the miraculous birth of the Lord Jesus was disregarded by the leadership of Israel. Also, in spite of Jesus’ spectacular baptism and 3 ½ years of glorious ministry, Jesus was finally rejected by Israel’s leadership on the day the Lord presented himself while riding on a donkey into Jerusalem. That day of visitation in Jerusalem and the rejection of our Lord on that day would determine the outcome of Israel’s future for 3,000 years until the end of time on the earth.
  • Jesus always accused the Pharisees of the hardness of their hearts. Even after Jesus showed himself resurrected and alive, Israel’s leadership still rejected him as Messiah. After Jesus’ ascension to heaven, Israel’s future could be compared to a coin. The first side of the coin represents God’s plan to restore and save Israel. The other side of the coin represents judgments.
  • We are familiar with the terrible destruction of Jerusalem in A.D. 70, when once again Israel was facing utter destruction. In agreement with Old Testament prophets, Jesus prophesied a 7-year Tribulation period, a judgment that would follow immediately after the Rapture of the Church and the last-day world harvest of souls!

GOLD & GLORY FLASHPOINT 2:

  • As we approached the turn of the century in 1900, God’s plan to restore Israel to statehood took effect in 1896 when Theodor Herzl published a book calling for the restoration of Israel as a nation. The next year, 1897, Zionist leaders came together in Basel, Switzerland, for the first of twelve Zionist Congresses in seeking a path to restore all Jews to their original homeland once again. Twenty years later, in 1917, the Jews were granted permission to access Palestine and begin a time of return and resettlement in the land of their forefathers. Twenty years after that, in 1937, Israel was facing terrible persecution, and all the Jews across Europe were subjected to the persecution of Adolf Hitler and the Nazis.
  • Towards the end of WWII, it seemed very likely that Hitler might succeed in his satanic onslaught against the Jews. Film footage of the Holocaust shocked the world with so many dead Jewish bodies being “bulldozed” into large trenches for mass burials. Prophetically this was the manifestation of Ezekiel’s vision of the valley of dry bones (Ezekiel 37). However, seven years after Hitler started to gas the Jews to death, miraculously the nation was reborn on Friday, May 14, 1948. Israel’s declaration of independence came about after 6 months of engaging in a war of independence against her many Arab nations surrounding Israel.
  • It is almost impossible to count all the wars and military conflicts that Israel was subjected to since their first return to Palestine in 1917. However, God has always protected Israel, and victory in all these conflicts would always manifest in a miraculous fashion.
  • God’s plan with the full restoration of Israel would end in the near future at the time of the Rapture of the Church. At that time, the world, including the Middle East, would experience total peace. Israel’s restoration would reach a final completion with the rebuilding of their new temple on the Temple Mount. Following the Church Rapture, Israel would be subjected to the seven-year Tribulation period. At the end of the Tribulation, Jesus would reappear, accompanied by billions of souls from heaven in the battle of Armageddon. Jesus would then destroy the antichrist kingdom and deliver Israel from all danger and threats. The devil, the antichrist, and the false prophet would then be bound and cast into the lake of fire. We, the Church, would then join the Lord in assisting Him to govern Israel and the nations of the world for a thousand years of total peace!
  • At the end of the thousand-year kingdom of Jesus, the devil will be let out of the pit one last time to deceive the nations of the world once more. This would be the moment for Israel to choose Jesus as Messiah and Savior. Satan’s final rebellion would be short-lived. God would pour out FIRE from heaven to destroy all evil, and all people will gather at the Great White Throne Judgment for the final judgment of all. Eternity would begin with the revelation of the new heavens and the new earth for all God’s people. All those who never received God’s salvation will be incarcerated in hell for all eternity along with the devil and all his demons.
  • Thank God His plan with Israel will provide the Jews in these last days with many opportunities to receive the Lord Jesus as their Savior and King for all eternity. God’s end-time plan with Israel is truly one of the great influences on the prophetic events of the last days. We will all witness the full manifestation of the Lord’s plan with Israel until the Church Rapture!
  • Jesus’ promise of the restoration of the Fig Tree was the clear and definitive sign to point out the beginning of the last generation of the dispensation of grace. This new generation of the Fig Tree, Jesus said, would not pass away before He returns.
  • Since we are in the 77th year of the final generation, we are looking forward with great expectancy concerning the last day plan of the Lord for the Church, Israel, and the nations of the world. PRAISE GOD, ALL GOD’S PLANS FOR THE LAST DAYS WILL SOON COME TO PASS. Thank you, Lord! Thank you, and God bless you.
