How to Take Full Possession of God’s Gifts—Part 2!
Let’s continue on from last week, and talk some more about how to take full possession of God’s gifts. It is the heart of God to desire that all his children take FULL possession of God’s gifts and blessings of the New Covenant here on Earth.
In discussing how to receive ALL these gifts, we identified “3 Problems” or obstacles standing in our way as we seek the blessings of God manifested in our lives.
It is SO important that we understand these 3 hindrances to receiving God’s best, so let’s pay close attention to them again, today.
GOLD & GLORY FLASHPOINT 1:
- Here is problem #1: when we ask the Lord for blessings of the New Covenant, we ask the Father in Jesus’ name (John 16:23). In the Church
world limitedly we have learned to ask the covenant gifts of the Father in Jesus’ name. Always remember even though you ask for covenant gifts from the Father, in the name of Jesus, the manifestation of our prayers are brought to us by Holy Spirit, who is the ONLY Person of God living on the earth and also inside our born-gain human spirits. Once we have prayed in faith, according to Mark 11:24, we should then expectantly look to Holy Spirit to bring the manifestation of our prayer requests. - However, there is another obstacle for us to consider here, under Problem #1. Shortly before His death, the Lord informed His disciples that after His death and resurrection, He would personally return to the Father in heaven (John 14:1-4). In Jesus’ absence, Holy Spirit will impart Jesus’ eternal life into the human spirit of every Christian
who believes and accepts Christ as his or her savior. Then, in these “forbidden chapters” of John 14-17, Jesus explained that ALL personal fellowship with God would happen inside our born-gain human spirits with the Person of Holy Spirit. - The great reality of this truth, as pre-explained by the Lord Jesus to His disciples, is something the Church completely rejects. The Church in NO way teaches fellowship between the human spirit of a Christian and Holy Spirit; however, in this package of personal fellowship between Holy Spirit and a believer, are 14 things listed which Holy Spirit would PERSONALLY impart to a believer on a regular basis, and do so progressively for the rest of our lives on Earth.
- Although Jesus clearly listed these 14 personal gifts of fellowship to the believer, I have never seen nor heard it taught before. In chapter 8 of our book, TRUE Christianity, specifically on pages 68 through 70, we briefly describe these 14 gifts of Holy Spirit and how they should operate inside the spirit of every believer.
Now, problem # 2: it is of such great importance to know that the TRUE New Testament Word of God is PURE, it is SPIRIT, and it is LIFE (John 6:63). Yet, there is a tragic situation in connection with hearing the Word of God preached. It is ONLY the PURE, unadulterated New Testament Word of God that contains ALL the spiritual substances which Holy Spirit wishes to PERSONALLY deliver inside our human spirit. In this regard, deception has ruled the Church for 2,000 years.- We take the Bible and mix it up all together, throwing in our own personal interpretations and preach that to the Church on Sundays. This happens all the time; however, the power and the operation of faith in God’s Word is only contained in the New Testament Word of God, which we find in the book of Acts and in the Epistles. As great as Jesus’ teachings were on Earth, they were spoken to Israel before His death, burial, and resurrection.
- These teachings are wonderful things for us to consider and know; however, they were spoken pre-New Testament, and the New Covenant Word was ONLY spoken to the Church by the Apostles in the Epistles. The New Covenant Word stretches from the resurrection of Jesus to the Rapture of the Church.

- Here is problem #3: when it comes to the born-again human spirit, this true Spirit man of eternity, our own eternal “self” is hardly ever referenced in
the Church. How much is actually said about the born-again human spirit? When it comes to the human spirit actively receiving principal input from Holy Spirit, we need to be in fellowship with Holy Spirit so that our spirit can mature. We also need to be fed on the PURE New Testament Word of God so that our spirit can be nourished and grow strong. If our spirit is thus allowed to grow and mature through Holy Spirit fellowship and the PURE Word of God, our maturing spirit man will progressively find it easier and become more conscious of things that Holy Spirit imparts into our spirit. - The Apostle Paul prayed for the Church that in addition to all the giftings of the Spirit—from salvation throughout everyday life, it is Holy Spirit who gives us God’s pure spiritual wisdom, revelation, and knowledge. In other words, we should ask Holy Spirit in person on a daily basis to impart growth and maturity to our spirit man. “Precious Holy Spirit, will you reveal to me in my spirit the wisdom of God’s plans, the revelation of God’s greatness, and the spiritual knowledge of His magnificent character and existence?” If we can overcome these 3 problems we just mentioned…

- lack of fellowship with Holy Spirit
- failure to grow up spiritually in the pure Word of God
- neglect of regular times of fellowship with Holy Spirit

- …then, we can ask Holy Spirit everything! We can ask Him for the great wisdom, revelation, and knowledge of almighty God!! This is SO precious and SO powerful! Paul predicted that one day the Church would live this spirit life with Holy Spirit. And it is so important, YES, this is how we receive the things of God in our born-a gain spirit man, AND enjoy God’s personal Presence. Oh my Lord if we would only hear and practice this!
- This is how and where we should begin to receive ALL the multiple giftings of God, through HIS HOLY SPIRIT. We just make a fresh start, TODAY and begin to talk to Holy Spirit. Yes, we can talk to Him in our minds, but being born-again and being filled with the Spirit, the gift of speaking in tongues in the Spirit lives inside our spirit man.
- The detail and simplicity of “how” you actually fellowship with the Lord in your spirit is thoroughly explained in chapter 4 of our book, TRUE Christian Living. Go back, look at again, read it, enjoy it, and DO IT! There is SO much that God has available to us today! Furthermore, there is SO much in store for us tomorrow and in the near future!! We are only beginning to talk about the life of the born-again human spirit man and how our spirit after salvation may continue to draw and receive continually of all the multiple giftings of Holy Spirit, which He makes available to us in our spirit from the moment of salvation when He steps inside and makes our spirit, His spiritual home!
- I want to also refer you to chapter 10 entitled, “God’s Holy Ghost Hamburger Idea” of our flagship book,
God’s Gold & Glory Revolution. The first 22 pages of this chapter, and especially the first 7 pages, are filled with the depth of giftings and activities between Holy Spirit and the human spirit. Although it was the Lord who wrote it through me, I personally have only recently begun to see some of the awesome revelations that are in those pages! I guess people seem to think I know all that because I wrote it. The depth of the greatness of God cannot be truly penetrated but in the timelessness of the eternal future! Regardless, there is enough revelation of all the miraculous, innumerable giftings of God’s Holy Spirit, as He lives in our spirit man. Again, sadly so, much of this is not ever touched by the Church, yet. What am I talking about? - Again, I refer you to Ephesian 1:17-18, which we have discussed in detail a few weeks ago in our Sunday
broadcasts. Go back and look at those 2 verses again. Ephesians 1:17 shows us how to receive revelation from God in our spirit. The next verse, Ephesians 1:18, shows us how Holy Spirit will enlighten our understanding of the Word by shining the light of TRUTH into our minds. - Revisit the above-mentioned Sunday broadcasts in their entirety…

Precious heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus, I pray that you would grant unto us the manifestation of the Spirit of wisdom, revelation, and knowledge of God in our human spirit. I pray also that the light of the PURE gospel of the New Testament will shine upon our minds and enlighten our understanding with the brightness and the clarity of truth and knowledge, and that all darkness of antichrist Christianity and all falsehood of intellectual Christian teaching be dispelled from our soul man by the blinding light of the brightness of the pure New Testament Word of the Lord Jesus Christ. Amen!
