Jesus’ TIME on Earth—Part 7!

One of the greatest mysteries about who Jesus was on earth is the fact that none of the Jews were able to recognize that Jesus was THE manifestation of Christ the Messiah.

The Pharisees kept asking Jesus for a “sign,” or they would ask Him what power and authority He had to do miracles and preach the Kingdom of God. Everybody was clueless!

GOLD & GLORY FLASHPOINT 1:

• Israel failed to study and know all the prophecies about the manifestation of their Messiah. The facts prove it! During His entire lifetime on earth, Jesus fulfilled 49 prophecies that were prophesied by all the Old Testament prophets concerning the Messiah. The mere fact that Jesus fulfilled all these 49 prophecies in HIMSELF is one of the greatest wonders of all time! The probability of fulfilling all these 49 prophecies is incalculable. Eleven of the 49 prophecies fulfilled have a probability rate of 1 to the 19th power, which is 10,000,000,000,000,000,000. Here is one of the greatest miraculous signs that Jesus gave to Israel to prove that He was the Messiah!
• Jesus’ authority on the earth was established in the eternal past. Billions of years before Jesus was born, Jesus became the Lamb of God to take away the sins of the world. Revelation 13:8 and 17:8 tells us that Jesus became the Lamb of God BEFORE the foundation of the world! He died for us because He was slain. Indeed, Jesus paid for ALL the sins of the world BEFORE TIME, so His earthly authority was really an eternal authority. Father God confirmed Jesus’ authority on the earth.
• At Jesus’ baptism, the heavens opened, Holy Spirit appeared in the form of a dove, and Father God proclaimed in a loud voice from heaven that Jesus was His beloved son. When we understand this truth about Jesus before time, everything else seems to fall in line. It even makes sense.
• Why did the Lord make a covenant with Abraham? For the simple reason that the Messiah would become a man, a human. Jesus needed to be legitimately born into the earth through a woman’s body. The covenant with Abraham gave Jesus the authority to use Abraham’s lineage throughout all his descendants until it was time for Him to be incarnated on the earth. Through covenant, Jesus made use of Abraham’s lineage, or his bloodline of many generations. Jesus utilized the bloodline of Abraham but not his blood. Holy Spirit supernaturally created Jesus’ body in Mary’s womb. Now we see the power of the incredible miracle of Jesus’ birth!
• The Apostle Paul says that the first man, Adam, was of the soil. But the second man, Jesus, is the Lord from heaven (1 Corinthians 15:47)! From His birth onward, Jesus was perfect and holy. Mary was not His mother. She was a provision for His body. Jesus’ spirit was supernaturally transferred from heaven into His body in Mary’s womb. I don’t believe all of this has been properly explained to the Church.
• Regardless of all the Old Testament prophecies, the Jews were not convinced that Jesus was Christ. Isaiah 9:6 gives us an answer. All government of earth was placed on Jesus’ shoulders at the moment He was born. He was simultaneously God, man, and God’s government of peace on the earth. In Himself, Jesus brought God’s Kingdom to earth!
• From the moment of His birth, Jesus became Israel’s “New Temple” and Israel’s “New Law.” Instead of preaching Moses, Jesus was preaching the Kingdom of God. Now we understand better that Jesus completely abandoned ALL Judaism, including every belief system in the Mosaic Law. Bear in mind all of this was paid for and established BEFORE the foundation of the earth! Through Malachi, the actual birth year of Jesus was foretold 430 years ahead of time.
• Looking at Jesus’ life on earth objectively makes it easy for us today to see clearly that He was Christ on the earth. He was also empowered by Holy Spirit to perform signs, wonders, and miracles. Jesus always healed ALL the sick. He cast out ALL demons. Jesus even raised the dead back to life and told people that their sins were forgiven. The Church has brought us up to this point, although not always providing clear teaching regarding Jesus’ life on earth. The Church actually accepts the fact that since Jesus was God in His spirit and a holy man physically, they believe that He forgave sins on the earth. This is where the belief system of the Church stops!
• One of the greatest miracles of Jesus on earth took place on the night of the Passover supper. Clearly, Jesus did not celebrate the Jewish Passover. In fact, He never kept any of the Law. If He had done so, He would have sinned against Himself.
• The night that Jesus was betrayed, He gathered His disciples together. He told them that it was His desire to celebrate the Passover with them. Obviously, Jesus had a different Passover celebration in mind. At 6:00 p.m. that evening, the Passover Lamb and unleavened bread traditionally was celebrated. To the contrary, Jesus provided a “NEW” Passover supper for His disciples. He gave them the Bread of Life to eat and said that this bread was His body, which is broken for them. After supper, Jesus passed the cup of wine to the disciples. Jesus told them that this cup was the “NEW TESTAMENT” of His blood.

GOLD & GLORY FLASHPOINT 2:

• It is sad and ironic that the Church universally does not preach a New Covenant type of Christianity. The Church at large mixes the Old and New Covenants together as a MIXTURE type of Christianity. The moment Jesus died on the cross, He fulfilled the Old Covenant. He said it Himself. “It is finished,” Jesus said.
• In hell, Jesus paid for ALL the sins of the world by being incarcerated for three days. After three days, Jesus was resurrected back to life. Before He could leave hell, Jesus needed to stay there long enough that no human being ever would need to go there! Jesus’ spiritual life was given back to Him in hell. Immediately, His spirit was born again!! Then, Jesus pulled hell apart and punished the devil and his demons. Colossians 2:15 tells us that Jesus spoiled or punished all principalities and powers. Jesus made a show of the demons openly and triumphed over them!
• A great Greek scholar by the name of Dr. P.C. Nelson explained this verse at a ministers’ conference long ago. He said that Jesus “showing the demons openly” in the Greek says that He “stripped them naked and marched them naked through the streets.” This explanation is according to Dr. Nelson, one of the greatest Greek scholars of all time.
• Although thousands of people saw Jesus alive after His resurrection, hardly anybody really knew what the resurrection meant. Jesus’ resurrection was the crowning jewel of mankind’s salvation! In 1 Corinthians 15, Paul tells us in detail how glorious Jesus’ resurrection was. Without Jesus’ resurrection, there would be no salvation, no forgiveness of sins, no righteousness, and no eternal life. Oh, thank you, Lord! You truly accomplished everything for man’s salvation.
• Forty days after His resurrection, Jesus ascended to the throne of the Father. He had already sprinkled His blood on the Mercy Seat of heaven on the very FIRST day of His resurrection. He told Mary in the garden, “Don’t touch me yet, for I have not yet ascended to my Father.” Jesus did that shortly after this conversation with Mary to sprinkle His blood on the Mercy Seat of heaven.
• At this present time, the Church does not yet appreciate all that Jesus has done for us on the earth. He promised His disciples His Holy Spirit after His departure. The outpouring of God’s Spirit on the first day of Pentecost that year confirmed this great promise. Not only did Jesus send Holy Spirit to be TANGIBLY poured out upon people, but He also entrusted Him to do the work of salvation in every human spirit who calls upon Jesus’ salvation (Titus 3:5).
• The night of the Passover, Jesus taught His disciples how to embrace Holy Spirit in their hearts AFTER His departure to heaven. Jesus described to the disciples in great detail the personal relationship that every born-again person could enjoy with Holy Spirit again after His departure from earth. For over 42 years, this ministry has honored the Lord Jesus Christ in all He did for us during His time on earth.
• At GHM, we have experienced many outpourings of God’s Spirit, and this ministry has become the foremost proponent of the TRUE Christian life, which is FELLOWSHIP with God’s Holy Spirit. We have also always greatly honored the New Covenant of the Lord Jesus Christ. We have not ceased to proclaim only the New Covenant as the truth of Christ’s salvation. The Law died when Jesus was born. The Abrahamic covenant was fulfilled and also perished the very moment Jesus died on the cross!
• For over 2,000 years, the Church has never fully understood  that the LAW and the OLD COVENANT are actually DEAD! The New Covenant alone is the covenant of the body and the blood of Jesus. We will never waver or compromise the Lord Jesus and His New Covenant of eternal salvation.
• Paul the Apostle made one of the most shocking statements when he told the Hebrew Christians that the Old Covenant was decaying and had vanished away! Paul warned the Hebrew Christians not to go back to the Old Covenant and the Law, nor to mix the two covenants together in Christianity. This is blasphemy! In Hebrews 10:29, Paul warned the Hebrew Christians that this violation of the New Covenant would be like treading the Son of God underfoot and despising the Spirit of Grace, which is Holy Spirit!
• There is so much we can say about Jesus’ life and ministry on earth. I pray to God that the Church would correct herself from violating the New Covenant. Here at GHM, we will continue to preach the truth about Jesus. We will proclaim the truth of Christ in the eternal past and the life of Christ on earth from His birth to His ascension. Since He departed earth, we acknowledge that Jesus is seated at the right hand of the Father.  We honor you, Lord Jesus, for coming to earth in order to pay the ultimate penalty for our sins. Lord Jesus, your life on earth was holy and glorious. We look unto You today with a heart full of faith and desire, trusting that we will soon meet the Lord Jesus from heaven on the clouds of glory! Thank you, Lord Jesus, for making all this possible before time and during the time of Your life and ministry on earth. Lord Jesus, we thank You, and we worship You forever! Thank you. God bless you.
